Weighted and unweighted GPA
Weighted GPA calculator
Add course levels and credits to compare a 5.0 weighted estimate with a standard 4.0 GPA.
How weighted GPA works
Each letter grade becomes a base point value. The selected course-level bonus is added, the result is multiplied by course credits, and all quality points are divided by total credits. Because schools use different policies, treat this as a planning estimate and compare it with your handbook.
The unweighted result ignores course-level bonuses but still uses credits.
