How weighted GPA works

Each letter grade becomes a base point value. The selected course-level bonus is added, the result is multiplied by course credits, and all quality points are divided by total credits. Because schools use different policies, treat this as a planning estimate and compare it with your handbook.

The unweighted result ignores course-level bonuses but still uses credits.
