A 92% homework average with a 25% weight contributes 23 points to the final course grade. Add each category contribution. When weights total less than 100%, the normalized grade describes performance across the entered categories, while the weighted grade shows points earned toward the full course total.
Do not use individual assignment points here unless your gradebook calculates categories that way.
