Educational disclaimer

Every result is an estimate until the official source confirms it.

GradeHorizon explains common calculations. It does not control a transcript, gradebook, application service, admission review, or eligibility decision.

Calculator results are estimates

Results depend on the grades, credits, weights, course levels, and assumptions entered. A mathematically correct result can still differ from an official record when an institution uses another grade-point table, rounding rule, repeat policy, course-inclusion rule, or weighting method.

Use the displayed formula to review an estimate, then compare it with the current handbook, syllabus, transcript key, registrar instructions, or organization guide that governs the decision.

Official records control

Only the relevant school, district, college, university, registrar, instructor, application service, scholarship provider, credential evaluator, or eligibility organization can issue or change its official result. GradeHorizon cannot correct a grade, replace a transcript, certify credits, or override a published policy.

No admission or scholarship prediction

A GPA is one part of many academic decisions. GradeHorizon does not predict acceptance, denial, class rank, graduation, honors, financial aid, scholarship eligibility, or transfer-credit acceptance. Outside organizations may recalculate grades or review course rigor and context separately.

Specialized application GPAs

Articles about AMCAS BCPM, LSAC CAS, and NCAA core-course GPA are educational summaries with planning examples. They do not produce verified application or eligibility results. Rules can change by application cycle, division, transcript notation, course classification, or individual record.

Follow the current instructions published by AAMC, LSAC, NCAA, or the other organization and use its official verification process.

No professional advice

GradeHorizon does not provide legal, financial, medical, mental-health, academic-counseling, or professional admission advice. A student should consult a qualified teacher, counselor, adviser, registrar, or other professional for decisions with significant consequences.

No affiliation or endorsement

GradeHorizon is independent. References to schools, College Board, AAMC, LSAC, NCAA, Google, or other third parties do not imply that they sponsor, endorse, review, or operate GradeHorizon. Their names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
